This example document is here to demonstrate the use of UVic style sheets - a local template directory, with copies of UVic's style sheets, canned headers and footers, and common graphic images has been created for local use by faculty and staff.
An example index.shtml page has been placed initially in each empty course site to demonstrate some of the key components of the new UVic look and feel. The tutorials below provide information on how staff and faculty can incorporate components from the template directory in the course site pages if they choose. The Sample Links on the right provide some other more basic examples of style sheet use.
Note: Use of the UVic style sheet, headers and footers is optional. These items have been placed in the template directory as a convenience to faculty and staff. Faculty and staff should feel free to delete or modify this page as they see fit, or use or append their own cascading style sheets.
