A student accepted an offer from Google in Mountain View, California: "About 50% of the telephone screens and some questions during the onsite interviews were related to networking and I was able to answer them because of taking CSC 450!" And his interviewer said: "You did very well. You'd be surprised at how many people don't get those questions. A solid understanding of networks is pre-req."
A student working as an intern at a local wireless Internet service provider: "In fact, this co-op job is highly related to CSC 450 that you taught.
